Neil Horn opened the law firm of Neil Horn, P.C. in January 2004. He chose the Roanoke area because it is his hometown and the place he built his reputation as an attorney. Prior to setting out on his own, Neil served as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Rockingham County and for the City of Roanoke.

During his years as a Roanoke City Prosecutor, Neil prosecuted all types of misdemeanor and felony criminal and traffic offenses. These cases included serious violent felonies such as rape, robbery, murder and attempted capital murder. Neil served two years as Roanoke City’s Drug Prosecutor where his service concentrated on prosecuting drug offenses, weapons offenses and vice-related crimes.

As a private attorney, Neil and his law firm handle a wide variety of cases with a concentration on criminal and traffic defense. Since 2004 Neil has defended a wide variety of criminal/traffic cases from simple traffic infractions to capital murder.

Neil prides himself on providing honest, competent and aggressive representation to all his clients.
