Neil A. Horn received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Political Science from Roanoke College in 1992. Two years later he attended Wake Forest University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate there in 1997. Neil passed the Virginia Bar Exam in July 1997.

He served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Rockingham County, Virginia (1998 –1999) before returning to Roanoke to serve as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Roanoke. In 2002, Neil was assigned as the Chief Drug Prosecutor for the City of Roanoke and served in that capacity until 2004. At the beginning of 2004, Neil forged out on his own and opened his own law practice servicing the Roanoke community. As a Roanoke native, Neil prides himself on his strong professional ethic, straightforward style and commitment to focusing on the needs of his clients.

When not working hard on behalf of his clients, Neil enjoys swimming, bicycling, riding motorcycles and shooting. Neil is an avid hunter, conservationist and outdoorsman and is a member of the National Rifle Association and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
